Sh*ck Split! Comedian Sabinus Reveals Peaceful Breakup With Wife Ciana

Sabinus and his UK-based partner, Ciana Chapman, tied the knot in a private ceremony in 2023. However, by 2024, speculation about their marital issues had surfaced, with accusations against Sabinus ranging from domestic violence to infidelity and neglect as a father to their daughter.

During a TikTok live session with fellow comedian Carter Efe, Sabinus clarified the situation, stating that he is no longer married and that the separation was amicable. He emphasized that he and his daughter’s mother remain on good terms.

He said, “I’m not married. For those spreading rumors, my marriage ended peacefully. The mum and I are good. My daughter is okay, and she’s doing fine.”

In a separate interview with media personality VJ Adams, Sabinus revealed that his father was initially opposed to his career in comedy. His father had hoped he would become a lawyer, but after failing to gain admission to law school, Sabinus pursued Linguistics and Communication Studies.

It was during his time at the University of Port Harcourt that Sabinus discovered his talent for comedy and began creating skits. According to him, his father initially regretted funding his education and dismissed comedy as a “stupid business.”

Sabinus added that his father eventually gave him his blessing after seeing the success of his career and the financial support he began providing from his comedy earnings.
