Sh*ck Twist: Chief Kanran’s Brother Reveals He Was Never Sick Before Death

Yemi Remi, brother of the late Nollywood actor Segun Remi, widely known as Chief Kanran, has revealed the circumstances surrounding the veteran’s death.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

He explained that Chief Kanran had shown no signs of illness before his sudden passing. The actor had attended a church programme on Friday, August 15, where eyewitnesses said he danced joyfully. Just a day earlier, he had spoken with his brother about meeting the following day.

Tragically, that meeting never took place. Chief Kanran reportedly collapsed in his bathroom, and before he could be rushed to the hospital, he was confirmed dead.

“He wasn’t sick. The Friday before he died, he went for a church programme and people said he danced so well. He even called me on Thursday and said we’d meet the next day.

“It was that Friday that they called me to say that he had died. I asked what happened, and they told me he slumped in the bathroom. Before they could get to the hospital, he had died,” Remi recounted in a YouTube interview.

His death was first announced by producer Seun Oloketuyi. Chief Kanran was laid to rest on Friday, September 12, at his residence in Beckley Estate, Abule Egba, Lagos.
