Sh*ck Twist: Police Refute Claims Of Declaring Nollywood Star Iyabo Ojo Wanted

The Nigeria Police Force has debunked a viral “wanted” poster of Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo that has been making the rounds on social media.

The fake notice alleged that the actress and entrepreneur was on the police wanted list and even promised a reward for information leading to her arrest.

In a statement posted on its verified Facebook page Thursday morning, the Force dismissed the poster as false and misleading, stressing that it did not originate from the police nor was it ever published on any of their official platforms.

The police urged Nigerians to ignore the fake content and cautioned against spreading unverified information. They further advised the public to rely strictly on updates from official Nigeria Police Force channels.

The statement read: “FAKE NEWS ALERT! This ‘WANTED’ poster of actress Iyabo Ojo did not emanate from the Nigeria Police Force. It is false, misleading, and was never posted on any official NPF platform. Please disregard and stop spreading fake news. Verify only from official NPF channels.”

Meanwhile, in a lighter development, influencer Priscilla Ojo-Mkambala praised her mother, Iyabo Ojo, for supporting her through her pregnancy. In a video shared on Snapchat, she showed her mother cooking for her while expressing gratitude for her care.
