In a video that has gone viral, El-Zakzaky attributed Nigeria’s insecurity to politicians, questioning how ordinary cattle rearers suddenly acquired guns and armored vehicles in remote areas.

He stated: “The insecurity in Nigeria was engineered by those in power. If they truly wanted to end it, they could, because they created it. How is it that known cattle rearers now have guns in the bush? How do so-called bandits end up with armored vehicles, and we call them terrorists? Where did these tanks come from? Authorities are clearly behind this unrest. If they wanted to stop it today, they could.”

El-Zakzaky added: “By involving the US, which is evidently behind all this, we see the creation of Boko Haram, the funding of Boko Haram, the formation of ISWAP, and ISIS. They have openly admitted it. They planned to use terrorism to dominate Africa, so it’s no surprise that they now bring further violence. Their goal is to exploit our resources—oil, gold, gas—and that is why they focus on protecting Christians in states like Zamfara and Katsina.”
