Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has stirred conversations online about the type of man she hopes to marry after disclosing that President Bola Tinubu lives next door to her.

Tinubu’s main residence in Lagos is situated on Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi. Speaking during an interview with content creator Korty, Tiwa Savage opened up about her Ikoyi apartment, describing it as a “safe haven” because of its location, tight security, and closeness to the president’s home.

During the interview, Korty praised the singer’s residence and the level of security around it. Tiwa, however, explained that the apartment is only temporary, as she is currently constructing a new home at an undisclosed location.

She said, “To be honest, this is like my temporary place. I’m building one I bought somewhere, but it won’t be ready until next year. So this is my safe haven till then. I feel safe here. I even feel a little bit important because the president’s house is right in front.”

Her remarks quickly triggered mixed reactions from social media users.
