Acting as a representative of Tinubu at the concluding event of the All Progressives Congress governorship rally in Bayelsa State, Shettima emphasized the state’s significance within the vision and development agenda of the Tinubu-led administration.
He highlighted that comprehensive plans have been devised for the improvement of infrastructure, technological advancements, educational enhancements, and sustainable utilization of the region’s abundant resources, with gradual implementation in progress.
Mr. Shettima stated, “My principal, our President, is a visionary leader, resolute in his commitment to the Nigerian project.
He is determined to expedite the development of the Niger Delta and all other regions of the country. Our duty is to support him and remain loyal for his success.
This is why all Bayelsans must unite on Saturday and support our party and candidate, Chief Timipre Sylva.”

Accompanied by Sylva, Shettima paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Bayelsa Traditional Rulers’ Council and the Ibenanaowei of Ekpetiama Kingdom in Yenagoa Local Government Area, King Bubaraye Dakolo, as a sign of respect.
