Shocking Appeal! Akpabio Offers To Mediate In Controversial Case With Natasha
Ahmed Isah, the host of the popular Human Rights Radio and Television program Brekete Family, also known as the “Ordinary President,” has appealed to Kogi Central lawmaker Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan and Senate President Godswill Akpabio to allow him to mediate in their ongoing dispute.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
The conflict began last Thursday during plenary when Natasha refused to occupy the seat assigned to her. On Tuesday, she filed a defamation lawsuit against Akpabio at the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja, accusing him of defaming her. The lawsuit, filed through her lawyer Victor Giwa, also named Akpabio’s Senior Legislative Aide, Mfon Patrick, as a defendant.
Speaking on Brekete Family on Wednesday, Isah urged Natasha to withdraw her court case, offering his services as a mediator.
“I still advise Natasha to drop the case,” he said. “I am willing to step in and mediate the issue. If Natasha trusts me and the Senate President is willing to give me the opportunity, I will help resolve the matter. There’s always a point of agreement in any mediation.”
