Social Media Sparks Outrage As Peter Okoye Confronts User Over Offensive Remark About His Mum

The controversy began after a user identified as Ademola Ogudu posted a message accusing Peter’s mother of being bitter and judgmental during past family disagreements, also alleging she disapproved of his marriage to a Yoruba woman. The post contained harsh and insulting language directed at the singer’s family.

In response, Peter Okoye condemned the message as deeply hurtful and unacceptable. He stated that the user had gone too far and demanded an immediate deletion of the post along with a public apology. He also warned that he would pursue legal action if such behaviour continued, stressing that online abuse of that nature must stop.

Following the backlash, the user issued an apology, admitting the comments were disrespectful and inappropriate. He expressed regret for dragging Peter’s late mother into the issue and asked for forgiveness, acknowledging that his words were wrong and promising to do better in the future.
