Soneye explained that the refinery, which has resumed operations after years of inactivity, has not yet begun bulk sales or activated its purchase portal. Instead, the products currently being sold are sourced from the Dangote Refinery and Petrochemicals, and include Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) fees.

The announcement comes as interest grows around the refinery’s operations, especially with its recent restart. The Port Harcourt Refinery is currently producing 60,000 barrels per day and is expected to play a significant role in reducing Nigeria’s reliance on imported petroleum products.

Soneye further stated: “We have not yet commenced bulk sales, and our purchase portal remains inactive as we finalize the necessary processes. For now, the products being sold are sourced from the Dangote Refinery, which also includes NMDPRA fees. The fuel from the Port Harcourt Refinery is exclusively for our retail stores, and our prices are regularly reviewed and adjusted as needed.
