Speed Darlington Fires Back At Burna Boy: I Can Never Forgive Him

Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has expressed interest in facing fellow artiste Burna Boy in a boxing match, saying he would like to settle their longstanding dispute in the ring.

According to Bush Radio Academy, Speed Darlington made the statement during an interview with Nevo Media while discussing his proposed boxing bout with comedian and streamer Carter Efe.

The rapper said he hopes to face Burna Boy after his planned encounter with Carter Efe, describing the potential matchup as a major personal highlight for the year.

Speed Darlington also linked his interest in the proposed fight to the previous dispute between him and Burna Boy, particularly an incident that resulted in his arrest.

“The plan is after I finish with Carter Efe, I hope they can make it happen. I want Burna Boy next so I can offload all my anger on him,” he said.

The rapper added that a fight against Burna Boy would be significant to him, recalling his claim that the Grammy-winning singer was responsible for having him arrested.

“That would be sweet, that would be the highlight of this year. He had me locked up, that’s what he did to me. That’s the deal, I can’t forgive that. Even after the fight, we are still enemies for life,” Speed Darlington stated.

Speed Darlington and Burna Boy have been involved in a public dispute for some time, with the rapper previously making comments about the singer that were followed by legal developments surrounding his arrest.

His latest remarks come as he prepares for a proposed boxing showdown with Carter Efe, potentially opening the door to another celebrity boxing contest if a bout with Burna Boy is eventually arranged.

At present, Speed Darlington’s comments represent his stated desire for the fight, and there is no indication in the report that a boxing match between him and Burna Boy has been officially confirmed.
