The group responded to claims made by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), which contended that Uzodimma could not secure a credible victory in the state.
In a statement released by the group’s convener, Engineer Obinna Obiozor, it was emphasized that Governor Uzodimma’s administration had achieved significant progress, primarily through the implementation of the shared prosperity agenda, which had earned him widespread approval and affection among the people.
The statement also highlighted that opposition party propaganda could not undermine the strong support that the people of Imo State have for their governor.
The convener underscored the substantial voter support received by the All Progressives Congress during the recent House of Assembly election in Imo as a vote of confidence in Uzodimma’s leadership.
He further noted that the residents of Imo State can discern the leaders who genuinely care about their welfare, and their enthusiastic support is a testament to the meritorious service provided by Governor Uzodimma’s administration over the past three years. The statement reaffirmed that those who doubt Uzodimma’s overwhelming popularity are mistaken.
