In recent hours, alarming reports have surfaced, highlighting a significant decline in the value of the Nigerian Naira compared to major foreign currencies, including the US Dollar and British Pound.

Just weeks ago, hopes were high as the Naira seemed on the verge of achieving unprecedented strength. However, despite efforts by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic team, which includes notable figures like Apex Bank Governor Yemi Cardoso, CBN deputies, and Minister of Finance Wale Edun, including measures such as the ban on Binance, an alleged currency speculation platform, the situation has taken a downturn.

Moreover, recent reports have raised concerns about the depletion of Nigeria’s foreign reserves, purportedly due to efforts led by Yemi Cardoso to shore up the Naira’s value.
