Yoruba nation advocate, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has announced his return to the country with a mission to expel “killer herdsmen” from the South-West region.
Speaking to a gathering in Igboho town, Oyo state, Igboho emphasized the urgent need for the people of the South-West to free themselves from the menace of these marauding herdsmen.
In his address, Igboho stated:
“It is imperative that we unite and take control of the security situation in the South-West. Waiting for external assistance or relying on the government is not the solution. Our lands have been taken away, and the safety of our people is at risk. Farming has become a dangerous venture due to these killer herdsmen. Monarchs have been slain in Ekiti state. We mustn’t wait for the military; we must take matters into our own hands. Once we drive them away from our land, we can reclaim our farms. Collaboration with our elders is crucial for securing our land.
