2. The Federal Government has announced Tuesday, October 1, as a public holiday in celebration of the nation’s 64th Independence Day Anniversary. This declaration was made by the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, through a statement issued by the ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, in Abuja on Saturday.
