Supreme Court Decision: Keyamo’s Appeal To Atiku and Peter Obi

Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi, to reach out and extend congratulations to President Bola Tinubu for his victory in the recent election.
In response to the Supreme Court’s ruling, Keyamo expressed that Atiku and Obi pursued their election petition with undue animosity and hostility. Keyamo emphasized that legal proceedings should be guided by law, not emotions.
Keyamo, in a post on a social media platform, pointed out that the judgment highlighted the distinction between emotions and the law.
He stated, “Today, they have learned a hard lesson that such animosity, hatred, and sentiment have no place in legal proceedings and deliberations. Their journey has come to an abrupt halt.”
Keyamo further commended the judiciary for its resolute, courageous, and intellectual approach. He also urged other presidential candidates to demonstrate their patriotism by contacting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and offering their congratulations.
He concluded with a call for national unity to help steer the country in the right directio
