Earlier today, the apex court upheld President Tinubu’s election, ensuring his official tenure for the next four years.
Fielding questions and addressing issues in the Presidential villa, President Tinubu was flanked by prominent cabinet members and political figures. Among them were Chief of Staff, Gbaja; Senate President, Akpabio; National Chairman of the APC, Ganduje; Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; FCT Minister, Wike, and the recently removed Nasarawa State Governor, Sule.
President Tinubu’s address, captured in a video now making rounds on social platforms, reflected not only his articulate prowess but also his vision for the nation’s future. He said, “From day one, I’ve been committed to working hard, regardless of the court case. This judicial outcome has only strengthened my resolve to do more. The President further urged Nigerians to adopt a constructive mindset, encouraging collective contribution towards national growth. “I appeal to Nigerians to shift their perspective. Let’s be optimistic about our nation and commit in every possible way. There’s no promise of instant paradise.”
Emphasizing the unity in diversity, President Tinubu elaborated, “We might be diverse, but we are members of the same family. We might reside in different parts of the house, but it’s still our home. It’s crucial to realize that we have no other nation but this, and we should be wholeheartedly committed, not for selfish gains but for collective progress.”
