Kukah made this revelation during an interview on Arise Television on Wednesday, stating, “There was nothing I said about President Buhari that was personal or disrespectful.
I simply believed that he was handling certain matters, especially in terms of managing our country’s diversity.”
He went on to mention that he had discussions with ministers who had served in that government and was astonished by the nature of their remarks, although he refrained from naming them. This, he indicated, is a topic for another time.
According to Kukah, his primary issue with Buhari revolved around the President’s ability to effectively manage the diversity within the country.
