Nigerian Tweeps have called him out for allegedly “using public funds” Others are defending him that he didn’t “use public funds”.

Take a look at some of the reactions below:

“My own is 302k usd house is not a big deal for someone like keyamo. His a lawyer with client base. 302k usd na wetin one boy for lekki dy use drink champagne na. Sentiment aside. Na wa oo. I’m 100  obedient but you see this one. I won’t insult him.”

“You saw mortgage yet you went ahead to feed your fellow.”

“If Festus Adeniyi Keyamo, who is a lawyer, a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the UK and also became a Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2017 at the age of 47 and has also handled several controversial and landmark cases, cannot afford $350k house in the US, I doubt if you can define starting early means, in my opinion. If you ever have a case with him, you’ll understand how much God’s grace is needed to get through another 20 years. Make judicious use of social media. Gurus can see your xxxx record.”

“They envy everybody in govt. So apart from been a minister, @fkeyamo cannot afford such property with over 30years in legal profession abi??? Aye e maa baje ni Even me, cost my house in Ikorodu where a plot I sold beside me cost over N31m. Not to talk of a prosecution lawyer.”

“Why Keyamo nor get conscience na? Where this man see $302,080 take buy house for USA just 2 years after he become minister of state for Labour? No wonder the man nor dey send anything when concerns citizens of Nigeria. People greedy oooo.”

“Right now I am looking into my own past to see what can be used against me when I join politics to contest again!!  Obedients una too much! Digging Kings!!.”

“Funny how the poor hungry ones are the ones defending the rich to keep stealing the common wealth. People that can barely feed oOoOO!.”
