During their time in the Big Brother house, Kola and Imisi developed a close bond that led many fans to believe a romantic relationship might blossom between them. The duo frequently spent time together and often referred to each other as siblings, maintaining that their connection was purely platonic.

Even after the show ended, speculation about their relationship intensified as they were seen together at several public events. However, Kola finally addressed the rumours during a recent livestream.

Responding to a fan’s question, Kola clarified that Imisi is like a sister to him and that marriage or dating is completely off the table. He also urged fans to stop linking them romantically and to focus instead on his personal growth and career.

He said, “Imisi is my sister; I can’t marry my sister. Imisi is in her house, and I’m in mine. Please, can we make this about me?”

While in the Big Brother house, Kola had shown interest in another housemate, Dede, but their connection didn’t evolve into romance as Dede was already in a committed relationship outside the show. After the season ended, Dede also confirmed that she wouldn’t have dated Kola even if she were single, stating that they weren’t compatible.
