Speaking during a meeting with Fulani leaders in Igboho Town, Igboho issued a two-hour ultimatum, demanding the release of the pregnant woman’s remains and those abducted alongside her.

He also condemned the ransom demand, which reportedly started at ₦300 million and was later reduced to ₦150 million, insisting that the victims would not pay any such amount.

The activist warned that he would hold Fulani leaders responsible if the situation was not resolved within the deadline.

In his words, he expressed outrage over repeated kidnappings in the area, questioning why such incidents were occurring in his ancestral land and insisting that the violence must stop immediately.

He further alleged that the kidnappers had killed a ransom courier and the pregnant woman, while others were still being held.

Sunday Igboho added that tracking information reportedly led to different locations where the victims had been moved, and insisted that no ransom would be paid, urging the Fulani community to raise the funds themselves if they wished.

He maintained that failure to release the victims within two hours would lead to serious consequences.
