Atiku Abubakar, has been clarified. This clarification was deemed necessary due to allegations of forgery made against him by members of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

Certain members of the APC had raised questions regarding the presence of the name “Sadiq Abubakar” on Atiku’s WAEC certificate in contrast to his other academic records.

In response to these allegations, Mr. Momodu explained that he relayed the accusations to the former Vice President, who subsequently provided an explanation for the disparity.

According to Mr. Momodu, Atiku Abubakar stated, “Yes, I used the name Sadiq Abubakar to take my WAEC exams. After successfully passing my exams, I later executed an affidavit confirming that I am the same person as ATIKU Abubakar.

I enrolled in Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) as Atiku Abubakar and passed my exams under the same name. I was interviewed as Atiku Abubakar by the Federal Civil Service Commission and was hired into the Customs Service as Atiku Abubakar. So, where is the forgery in this?” – ATIKU ABUBAKAR

Atiku Abubakar’s response serves to address the concerns raised, and it is suggested that the APC’s social media advocates redirect their multitude of questions to their own leadership to obtain immediate and direct responses.
