The Reasons I Refuse To Offer Free Services In My Hometown – Ngozi NwosuVeteran Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has announced that she will no longer provide free services to her home state of Abia, citing a lack of support during her health struggles. Nwosu, who battled a kidney-related illness, emphasized that any future engagements would require significant compensation from the state. “I have personally decided that there is nothing my state can call me for that I would do for free. They will pay handsomely for my presence. I am from Arochukwu local government, Abia state,” she asserted.

She also recounted how, during her health challenges, she received crucial assistance from the Lagos state government, thanks to a woman who regarded her as her “favorite actress.” Nwosu shared, “It was my fame from the roles I played in various series that helped me in my time of need. The individual who contacted the Lagos state government did so because I was her favorite actor. When she learned I was unwell, she reached out to the government to help me because of her love for me.”

Nwosu started her career in Yoruba films and rose to prominence with her performance in the acclaimed film ‘Living in Bondage.
