Reno Oomori reacting to the trending pictures, stated via his social media handles: “These two men have either been President since 1999 or almost singlehandedly made others President. President Obasanjo was President between 1999 and 2007 and was majority responsible for the emergence of Presidents Yar’adua and Jonathan. Tinubu was instrumental in putting Buhari in Aso Rock. Now he is President.”
He continued: “Learn from the Yoruba Omoluabi ethos. Respect. Humility. Ability to suppress your emotions in favour of your principles. The preference for persuasion and cooperation over confrontation. And the willingness to endure short-term pains in order to enjoy long-term gains. Only if some people can learn. But pride goes before a fall!.”
