The African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain added that rejecting electronic transmission opens the door to widespread electoral fraud, and represents a major step backward for democracy in Nigeria. He urged lawmakers and citizens to resist what he called “this blatant attempt to undermine the will of the people” and to ensure that future elections are free, fair, and transparent.
