Taking to her verified account, Yesufu condemned the male-dominated structure of the coalition’s leadership. She argued that appointing women and youths merely as “leaders” for their gender or age groups was inadequate and superficial.

“Dear Coalition (ADC), assigning the roles of ‘women leader’ and ‘youth leader’ doesn’t cut it. A table filled with elderly men shouldn’t be the only voices directing our political future. Women and youths must be at the heart of decision-making—not afterthoughts or symbolic figures,” she wrote.

A vocal advocate for accountability and good governance, Yesufu called on young Nigerians and women to take a more active role in shaping political parties from within.

“Dear women and youth, now is the time to leverage your numbers. Be loud. Be present. Join! Become leaders, delegates, and active members. Flood the system with fresh, out-of-the-box ideas. Create impact from the inside.”
