In a statement issued on Wednesday by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC claimed that the electoral body acted under political pressure, accusing the government of attempting to weaken opposition parties and push Nigeria toward a one-party system.

The party described INEC’s stance as inconsistent and contradictory, insisting that it would provide clarifications to the public while maintaining that the commission has taken sides against the Nigerian people.

In its full statement, the party maintained that it rejects INEC’s interpretation of the Court of Appeal ruling, reiterating its position that the commission is acting under external pressure.
