To restore peace in the ancient town during the ongoing investigation, Governor Adeleke dispatched a high-ranking delegation. He specifically advised the bereaved families not to pursue legal actions at this time.

The delegation comprises key figures such as the State Commissioner for Chieftaincy and Local Government Affairs, the State Commissioner for Information, the Commissioner of Police, and the Special Advisor to the Governor on Security. In his statement, Governor Adeleke expressed deep sadness over the events in Ejigbo, extending condolences to the families affected.
