The Kano State Hisbah Board apprehended yet another prominent TikTok personality, Ramlat Princess, on Thursday night, February 15, 2024, over allegations of disseminating content on her TikTok page that purportedly supports lesbianism.
This incident closely follows the recent arrest and confinement of another controversial TikToker, Murja Kuna. The Sharia police verified the detention through a video released on their official TikTok platform.
Renowned for her daring content, Ramlat Princess had triggered widespread controversy in Kano State with a video promoting lesbianism. In the contentious footage, she unabashedly declared that her future spouse must permit her to engage in romantic relationships with other women.
“I am a committed lesbian. Lesbianism is a beautiful act that I can’t do without,” she boldly asserted in the video, sparking outrage on social media, particularly within the Kano State community.
