Frank expressed his view that Tinubu’s academic records are public documents and, therefore, should not be concealed. He argued that as a public figure, Tinubu holds accountability to the Nigerian people and should provide transparency regarding his educational background.
The political activist called on Tinubu to present his records to the public, especially if there is no reason to withhold them. Frank emphasized that the Chicago State University, being a public academic institution, should be forthcoming with the records of its former students.
Frank stated, “If Tinubu’s certificate is genuine and something he is proud of, he should have allowed the university to release it to the public because he’s serving the public as he claims.”
He urged the US court to intervene and order the university to release the documents, highlighting the parallels between the transparency expected in both Nigeria and the United States.
Frank’s call for an investigation focuses on the ongoing debate surrounding the availability and authenticity of President Tinubu’s academic credentials.
