Ribadu made this declaration during a meeting of the Inter-agency Consultative Committee on Election Security (ICCES) held in Abuja on Friday, attended by Mahmood Yakubu, Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The NSA assured the INEC chairman that the security agencies are fully prepared for the elections and will work diligently to meet all security requirements.

He stated, “Nothing is as important as a free and fair election in a democracy. That we can assure you; this government is ready to provide that.”

Ribadu emphasized that President Tinubu is committed to a free, fair, and credible election and urged all stakeholders, including politicians, to prioritize the importance of such an election for Nigeria’s progress.

He concluded by assuring Nigerians that the upcoming election will be better than previous ones, marked by fairness, credibility, and freedom from interference and violence.
