During the meeting, President Tinubu urged Christian leaders to actively support the government’s anti-corruption efforts by fostering a change in mindset among Nigerians regarding financial matters.

In his address, Tinubu emphasized the importance of promoting understanding, tolerance, perseverance, and hope among Nigerians, highlighting that public condemnation only damages the nation. He called for a dialogue to address issues rather than criticizing the country as a whole. Tinubu stressed the need for a collective shift in mindset away from making money a priority and expressed confidence that Nigeria would prosper.

The President acknowledged the criticisms his government had faced, particularly regarding the size of his cabinet. He defended the decision, stating that efficiency and results require appointing individuals who can effectively handle their responsibilities.
