Represented by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, the president expressed gratitude to the Editors for their pivotal role in advocating for democracy in Nigeria.
He then urged Nigerian Editors to actively support the campaign for moral uprightness among the citizens.
Tinubu emphasized the current challenge of misinformation and false narratives threatening societal cohesion.
He called for a collective effort to combat this menace through fact-checking, responsible reporting, and the promotion of media and digital literacy.
