Tinubu Lands In Abu Dhabi For Key Economic And Sustainability Forum [Details]
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Abu Dhabi to participate in the 2025 edition of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW 2025), scheduled to take place from January 12 to 18 in the United Arab Emirates.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶
Upon his arrival, Naija News reports that Tinubu was welcomed by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, UAE.
ADSW 2025, themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” serves as a global platform aimed at promoting sustainable development and fostering international collaboration.
The event will bring together policymakers, business leaders, and civil society representatives to explore innovative strategies for accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy and promoting socioeconomic growth.
During the summit, President Tinubu is set to highlight his administration’s achievements and ongoing reforms to enhance energy sufficiency, modernize transportation, improve public health, and drive economic development.
In addition to participating in the summit, President Tinubu and his delegation will engage in bilateral discussions with UAE leadership to explore opportunities for strengthening ties and addressing mutual interests.
This visit follows a prior engagement in September 2023, during which both nations signed a historic agreement that lifted the visa ban on Nigerian travellers.
Accompanying the President are the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other senior government officials
