Upon his arrival, Naija News reports that Tinubu was welcomed by Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, UAE.

ADSW 2025, themed “The Nexus of Next: Supercharging Sustainable Progress,” serves as a global platform aimed at promoting sustainable development and fostering international collaboration.

The event will bring together policymakers, business leaders, and civil society representatives to explore innovative strategies for accelerating the transition to a sustainable economy and promoting socioeconomic growth.

During the summit, President Tinubu is set to highlight his administration’s achievements and ongoing reforms to enhance energy sufficiency, modernize transportation, improve public health, and drive economic development.

In addition to participating in the summit, President Tinubu and his delegation will engage in bilateral discussions with UAE leadership to explore opportunities for strengthening ties and addressing mutual interests.
