The newly appointed officials are:

1.Mr. Olawale Olopade — Director-General, National Sports Commission

2.Dr. Abisoye Fagade — Director-General, National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism

3.Dr. Adebowale Adedokun — Director-General, Bureau of Public Procurement

4.Daniel Bwala — Special Adviser, Media and Public Communications (State House)

According to a statement from the Special Adviser to the President on Information & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the appointments reflect a commitment to excellence and progress in various sectors.

Olopade, the new Director-General of the National Sports Commission, is a seasoned sports administrator with extensive experience. He previously served as the Commissioner for Youth and Sports in Ogun State and chaired the Local Organizing Committee for the 2024 National Sports Festival.

Dr. Abisoye Fagade, who will lead the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, is a marketing communication professional and the founder of Sodium Brand Solutions.

Dr. Adebowale Adedokun, appointed as the new Director-General of the Bureau of Public Procurement, brings valuable experience from his previous role as Director of Research/Training and Strategic Planning at the Bureau.

Daniel Bwala, a lawyer and public affairs analyst, has been appointed as Special Adviser on Public Communications and Media in the State House.

President Tinubu urged the new appointees to approach their duties with dedication, patriotism, and excellence.
