This is a pivotal moment for the Petroleum Tanker Drivers (PTD) members to unite for the enhancement of their welfare and to uphold the core objectives of the union, primarily the efficient distribution of petroleum products across all states and regions of the country.

“We urge our members not to be swayed by unrealistic promises from the opposition. It is essential to counter any misconduct that could lead to the propagation of such promises.

“Our commitment remains steadfast in supporting the progressive and coherent policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration,” he stated.

In related developments, Lucky Osighe Osesua was elected National Chairman, with Dayyabu Garga and Peter Muodebelu elected as first and second Deputy National Chairmen respectively, alongside Humble Obinna as National Secretary, among other newly elected officials.

He further urged members to maintain calm, exhibit loyalty, uphold the law, and continue with their daily activities without fear of harassment or intimidation from any quarter.
