Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, conveyed the President’s plea during a briefing with State House correspondents following a meeting with Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Idris emphasized that Tinubu understands and takes seriously the concerns expressed by the youth, affirming the President’s commitment to improving the country’s economic situation for both present and future generations.

Meanwhile, the controversy involving Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayou Onanuga, and 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi, escalated further with legal actions and demands for apology over allegations linking Obi to the planned “EndBadGovernance protest.”

Obi’s lawyers have demanded N5 billion in damages and a public apology within 72 hours from Onanuga for defamation and libel, following accusations of Obi’s involvement in activities aimed at destabilizing the country.
