In a statement from his media office on Friday, Lado, a former senator representing the Kano Central Senatorial District from 2011 to 2015, highlighted the significance of collaboration between the two arms of government.
He noted that his office is dedicated to ensuring the swift legislative approval of presidential requests, particularly regarding the confirmation of nominees for various positions. Lado stressed the importance of seamless implementation of federal policies for the nation’s benefit.
“To promote and facilitate productive engagement between the Executive and Legislative branches, my office is committed to fostering healthy collaboration to advance transparency, accountability, and effective governance,” Lado stated.
He further elaborated on President Bola Tinubu’s dedication to the nation’s economic development, emphasizing that the appointment of nominees to key financial institutions is essential. Lado praised Tinubu for his financial reforms and the strategic selection of qualified individuals for critical financial roles.
“President Tinubu’s vision of appointing capable and highly qualified individuals to essential positions in significant financial institutions is central to his administration’s broader agenda of enhancing fiscal discipline,” he asserted.
