• In the 70-page campaign document, no fewer than 33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were listed under the Creative and Entertainment Category.

• Top Nollywood actresses, Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Fausat Balogun, Bahama Sadau and more have made the list.

There has been a stir online after a list of the Tinubu/Shettima women’s presidential campaign team surfaced.

The list includes notable Nollywood actresses like Joke Silva, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Fausat Balogun, Bahama Sadau, and others.

According to Punch, the ruling All Progressive Congress revealed the makeup of its women’s campaign team on Independence Day, with the First Lady, Aisha Buhari, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, and Hajiya Nana, the wife of Kashim Shettima, its vice presidential candidate, leading the pack.

33 Nollywood and Kannywood actors were listed under the Creative and Entertainment Category in the 70-page campaign document.

Among them were Fausat Balogun, Rahama Sadau, Remi Oshodi, Mercy Johnson Okojie, Rose Odika, Sola Kosoko, Lanre Hassan (Iya Awero), Hajiya Nas, Lizzy Jay (Omo Ibadan), Princess Kalihat Bello, and veteran actor Joke Silva, who chairs the category.

Many people were disappointed in Mercy Johnson and Joke Silva after hearing the news that they had joined the party and set up camp.
