Rema stole the spotlight with two major wins, clinching Album of the Year for Heis and the title of Best Male Artist. Ayra Starr continued her industry dominance, securing the Best West African Artist award.
In the gospel category, Mercy Chinwo was crowned Best Gospel Artist, while music legend D’banj received the Lifetime Achievement Award for his immense contributions to the industry.
Other standout Nigerian winners included P.Priime, who bagged Best Producer for MMS, and Meji Alabi, who won Best Music Video for directing Rema’s ‘DND’.
The 2025 Trace Awards highlighted the vibrancy of African music, with artists from various regions clinching top honors.
