Tragedy At AAUA: Student Found Deceased After Church Vigil

Ayandare Modupe, a final-year student at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba, Ondo State, and President of the Department of Agronomy, has tragically taken her own life. The incident occurred around 4am shortly after she attended a church vigil. Her body was discovered near Sportless Villa adjacent to the church.

Confirming the distressing news, spokesperson for the Students Union Government, Comr. Olaogbebikan Noble, stated, “The law enforcement agency has been notified, and efforts are underway to uncover the circumstances surrounding this tragic event. Rest assured that justice will be pursued diligently, and a thorough investigation will be conducted.”

This heartbreaking incident has deeply affected the university community, prompting an outpouring of condolences and calls for support for the family and friends of Ayandare Modupe.
