Shockingly, one of the attackers met his end when a courageous resident, described as a hunter, took up arms to defend the community. One of the eyewitness tweeting, stated: “An attack is going on now in Shere let us all pray for God intervention. I just got this message right now from our youth group chat. Shere is a village in Jos East local government, Plateau State. Oh God!.”
Another eyewitness, confirmed that the sad event is currently taking place in Durbi, “I can confirm that Durbi in Shere District was attacked earlier this evening and my Uncle and cousin were shot dead.”
