A tragic incident has struck Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, as a second-year student named Adedokun Olamilekan was fatally stabbed. The unfortunate event occurred on Thursday night in the Under G area of the town, with the perpetrators yet to be identified.

Olamilekan, a student of the Department of Information Science, was reportedly operating his business, Dcrown Unisex Salon, in Under G when he became involved in a dispute that led to his untimely demise.

Eyewitnesses relayed that Olamilekan was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital following the attack, but tragically, he passed away from his injuries. The Owode Police Station in Ogbomoso, Oyo State, has been informed of the incident.

As of now, neither the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, nor the university’s Public Relations Officer, Fadeyi, have issued official statements regarding the incident.

In a separate development, authorities have apprehended three individuals, including a 26-year-old native doctor named Chukwuyem Jonah, in connection with the alleged murder of Faith Omodon, a 200-level student at Delta State University, Agbor. Omodon had gone missing on April 1 in the Iru Egbede community, Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State, and was later found strangled to death after resisting abduction.
