Tragic Incident: Man Passes Away Near Fuel StationA 45-year-old man, identified as Alani Rasaq, has been confirmed dead after collapsing in front of a fuel station opposite the Fire Brigade office in Ifo, Ogun State, on Tuesday, December 17.
The station manager, Segun Afolabi, reported the incident to the Ifo police division. According to Afolabi, the man slumped and died around 3 p.m. at the station. The police promptly responded, transporting the deceased to the General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead by doctors.
Following the confirmation of his death, the police have transferred his body to the Ifo mortuary for further investigation.
Spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, SP Omolola Odutola, confirmed the incident, stating that an autopsy is currently being conducted to determine the cause of death.
