Tragic News: BBNaija Star Francisa Owumi Passes Away

Big Brother Naija star Francisca Owumi has passed away following a brief illness. Her family confirmed the sad news in a social media post on August 29, 2024.

The post included photos of Francisca with the caption:

“A daughter and sister. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.”

Francisca gained prominence as the first runner-up on the inaugural Big Brother Nigeria reality show in 2006. Known for her dynamic dance moves, she competed alongside notable contestants such as Katung Aduwak, the winner of that season, Ebuka Obi Uchendu, Gideon Okeke, Maureen Osuji, Ify Ejikeme, and the late Joseph Ada.

After her time on the show, Francisca briefly ventured into the Nigerian music scene, releasing singles like “Gbadun You” and “Diva.
