Tinubu acknowledged Osinbajo’s democratic right to contest alongside him for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket in 2023, noting their mutual respect and camaraderie. He further highlighted Osinbajo’s valuable partnership as Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice during Tinubu’s tenure as Lagos State Governor, where they introduced several political and judicial reforms through legal frameworks.

“Professor Osinbajo served as Vice President of Nigeria from 2015 to 2023.
