According to a circular issued by Barrister B.D. Jonathan, the secretary of the investigation committee, the professor in question is from the Department of Philosophy.
The committee has called on staff and students to submit any relevant information or personal experiences related to the allegations. Jonathan emphasized that providing such information would assist the committee in conducting a thorough and fair investigation.
He assured that the identities of those who come forward would be protected and that all information would be handled with strict confidentiality.
The formation of the committee follows a social media post by a UNIBEN graduate, who accused the professor of severe sexual harassment during her undergraduate years.
