University Of Lagos Utilizes Security Forces To Address Student Demonstrations Against Tuition RiseOn Friday morning, students began a peaceful demonstration to oppose what they deemed an excessive increase in their school fees.....KINDLY READ THE FULL STORY HERE▶

Student leader Femi Adeyeye announced the protest on his X page, stating, “Students gearing up to protest at the UNILAG SENATE HOUSE. It was the medical students just two days ago. Protest! Protest! Protest! Don’t ever keep quiet! @UnilagNigeria @ARISEtv @NewsCentralTV #FeesMustFall.”

An hour later, Adeyeye updated his followers, reporting that the university’s vice chancellor had sent security forces to confront the protesters. He mentioned that the Dean of Students Affairs forced them to write statements, and as he reported, the whereabouts of the protesting students were currently unknown.
