Juliet Chidiebube Uka, a Chemistry graduate from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, achieved a remarkable score of 324 in the recently concluded 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Previously excelling as the top student in the Department of Chemistry at UNIZIK in 2021 with a first-class degree, Uka aspires to pursue Medicine to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a medical doctor.

Expressing unwavering determination, Uka opted to retake the UTME in 2024, driven by her steadfast ambition. Her elder brother, Obiora Uka, commended her resilience, emphasizing her resolute pursuit of a medical career. He shared, “She has demonstrated resilience through outstanding performance. She has maintained that her ambition is to become a doctor. This led her to write JAMB again this year 2024 and scored an aggregate of 324.”

The Uka family ardently hopes for Juliet’s success in realizing her dream of becoming a medical practitioner.

In the realm of social media, users on various platforms continue to share updates on UTME results from the recently concluded exams. According to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), out of 1,842,464 candidates, 1,402,490 candidates failed to score 200 out of 400 marks.

Despite these statistics, there are instances of exemplary performance, such as Toro Shehu, the daughter of a lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, who scored an impressive 348 out of 400.
