Musa Aliyu, the Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC), has emphasized the agency’s dedication to waging war against corruption in order to foster good governance and contribute to the growth and development of Nigeria. Aliyu highlighted that the detrimental effects of corruption are evident in underdevelopment and poverty, making investment opportunities less appealing. He stressed the need for a collective effort to present the country in a positive light. Acknowledging the strategic partnerships established by his predecessors, Aliyu expressed his intention to further build upon those relationships. He noted the successful collaboration between ICPC and NEPAD in various projects, including election monitoring.

The ICPC Chairman emphasized the importance of future collaborations focusing on showcasing a positive image of Nigeria to attract both domestic and foreign investments, thereby promoting development.
