The United States Government has reiterated its commitment to stand by Nigeria in its battle against terrorism, particularly as the nation reflects on a decade since the mass abduction of over 200 schoolgirls in Chibok, North-East, by terrorists.

In a statement released by Aishah Gambari, the spokesperson of the U.S. Embassy in Abuja, it was affirmed that the U.S. would extend support to Nigeria’s efforts in combating terrorism and aiding survivors and their families. The statement underscored the foundation of shared values and mutual objectives that define the partnership between the two nations.
